About This Monitor
This monitor measures outdoor sound levels using a calibrated measurement microphone. Readings are taken every 30 seconds and compared against San Mateo Municipal Code §7.30.040 residential noise standards.
Measurement: Type 2 equivalent, 1/3 octave band analysis
Calibration: UMIK-1 measurement microphone with manufacturer calibration file
Standards: SMMC §7.30.040 — 55 dB(A) nighttime / 60 dB(A) daytime residential limits
